Château Versailles was the destination, but by-golly we got to see EVERYTHING! We decided to see the gardens of Versailles first. Walking through to get to the bigger "pond" to have a picnic, we got lost in the labyrinth!! Haha but we found our way thanks to Antarctica's friend, Mindi. Good mapping skills and the will to keep on were very important while navigating the vastness that is Versailles. We got to feed fish that looked prehistoric and saw baby swans and baby ducklings!! We then headed over to Marie Antoinette's estate. Which didn't look that massive on the map, but, it was. :) but GORGEOUS! Everything at Versailles has grandeur and elegance and super extravagance!
I especially loved all the ceilings we saw once we traveled back to the Château Versailles. All painted, guilded with gold; there were even wall coverings matching chair cushions matching bedding... Ah!
Beautiful day :D
